Messy Church was great!

We had great fun at Messy Church. We filled bottles with coloured sand, decorated clay rocks, made pop-up puppets and straw constructions and lots of other things. Then we heard a story about two builders, one who built on a rock and one who built on sand.

We're doing it again on Saturday 20 January 2013 at 4 pm - so put the date in your new calendar!

Children's Christmas Parties

Our Christmas parties are less than 5 weeks away! This year they are on the 8th December. For 3 year olds to Year 6 children they run from 2:30 to 5:30. For younger children they run from 3:30 to 5:30. To book a place please contact the church office on 01494 473889. We will be playing games and doing crafts. We will also be having tea.

Messy Church!

We are holding our first Messy Church event on Sunday 21st October between 4pm and 6pm.

There will be craft, games and activities for all the family. It's for all ages too.

Christmas Party!

We're having a Christmas party for children in years 1 to 6 on the 10th December, from 2:30 to 5:30.

We're providing food so you need to book in - details on how to contact us are here.

There will be craft, games, puppets and a chance to praise Jesus - after all, Christmas is his birthday!

Bright & Light Party 29 October

We are having a Bright & Light Party on Saturday 29 October for ages 3 to 11. It runs from 5pm to 7pm. There will be craft, games, songs and food, so why not come along! The theme is superheroes, so come along dressed as your favourite superhero.

Back to school

The schools are back and the Union Baptist Kids' Activities are back to normal after our summer programme. On the 18th September we have our usual "third Sunday of the month" Praise Party. We sing together, learn about God, play games and do craft. On the 25th September we have our Harvest Service. We hope to see you there!

Summer!

We're now on our summer timetable while the school holidays are on. This means that there's toast every week and all three groups from 3 to 11 year olds are together. However there's no need to take a break from learning about God so we continue to do that!
